Pre-shipment inspectionAQL 2.5 major · 4.0 minor
We built R3 International around the three worries every importer has about sourcing from India, and answered each one in writing.
Every supplier on your shortlist is checked against its GST and IEC registration and visited in person. You see photos, capacity and past export volumes, not a catalogue.
A signed golden sample sets the standard. Our inspectors check each shipment to AQL before you release the balance, with a photo and video report.
We take no money from factories. Our fees are published and paid by you, so our only incentive is your price and your quality.
R3 International is the sourcing arm of a family of Indian export businesses. We know Indian factories from the seller's side of the table, and we use that knowledge on yours.
These terms are part of every services agreement we sign. If we break one, you can walk away.
You approve at every gate. Nothing ships until you have seen the inspection report.
Three example engagements, step by step: breakage-prone glass, lab-tested spices and a five-supplier container.
Whole towns in India make one product. We work cluster by cluster, so you reach the workshops that make the best of each craft.
Use us end to end, or for a single step. Every service is priced in advance and delivered in English, with documents you can forward to your team.
A typical first order takes 8 to 14 weeks from brief to shipment, depending on the product and whether new tooling is needed. Here is exactly what happens, and what you hold in your hands at each step.
Inspections follow the ISO 2859-1 (AQL) sampling standard. Each report gives a clear pass or fail, the defects found, and photographs of the goods, cartons and labels.
| Lot size | 2,400 pcs |
| Sample size (General II) | 125 pcs |
| Critical defects (AQL 0) | 0 found / 0 allowed |
| Major defects (AQL 2.5) | 3 found / 7 allowed |
| Minor defects (AQL 4.0) | 6 found / 10 allowed |
| Carton drop test | Passed |
| Barcode and label check | Passed |
These are the categories we know deeply. If your product is not listed, send a brief anyway: if India makes it well, we will tell you where, and if it does not, we will tell you that too.
Most sourcing risk comes from money moving before quality is proven, and from agents who quietly earn from both sides. We remove both by design.
You sign the purchase order directly with the factory and pay it directly: usually a 30% deposit to start production, and the 70% balance only after our inspection report shows a pass.
Our own fees are invoiced separately, in US dollars, and are listed on the pricing page. We never hold your goods money, so there is no scenario in which a payment can go missing with us.
Before any money moves, we confirm the factory's bank account is in the same registered company name. If a supplier ever asks you to pay a new or different account, treat it as fraud until we have confirmed it by phone.
A supplier that fails any check is dropped, however good the price.
Registration documents are shared with every client before a services agreement is signed.
Each registration number can be checked independently on the official portal linked beside it.
Read our exact terms before you commit any money.
Most agents in India do not publish their fees, which often means the fee is buried in the price you pay the factory. Ours is on this page, in US dollars, and paid only by you.
Credited in full against commission on your first order.
Charged on the factory FOB price only, never on freight or duty. Minimum $500 per order.
Three-month minimum term, billed monthly in advance.
Orders with five or more factories in one container add 2%, because coordination work multiplies.
| FOB order value (USD) | Commission | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Under $10,000 | 10% | $8,000 order: $800 fee |
| $10,000 – $50,000 | 7% | $30,000 order: $2,100 fee |
| $50,000 – $150,000 | 5% | $100,000 order: $5,000 fee |
| Above $150,000 | 4% | $200,000 order: $8,000 fee |
Move the slider to your expected order value. The estimate uses the commission table above.
Excludes freight, insurance and US import duty, which you pay at cost.
Book any of these on its own. Prepaid, scheduled within five working days.
R3 International was founded in 2026 by a team that already runs export businesses in glass home décor and Indian spices. For years we sat on the seller's side of the table, and we saw how often overseas buyers were let down: by agents who took a cut from factories, by samples that did not match production, and by payments released before anyone had checked the goods.
We started R3 International to do the opposite. We sit on your side of the table. We know which clusters make what, how Indian factories price, what a fair margin looks like, and where shipments usually go wrong.
We are deliberately small and senior. The person who visits your factory is the person who answers your email.
Rahul runs R3 Exports, which exports glass home décor and handicrafts, and Gadin Exports, which exports Indian spices under the brand The Cumin King.
He started R3 International to give overseas buyers the factory-side knowledge he built as an exporter: how Indian workshops price, where quality slips, and how to keep an order on schedule.
These example engagements show, step by step, how we deal with the situations that most often go wrong when buying from India. Named client case studies are published only with our clients' written permission.
Short, practical guides written from inside the Indian export trade, and updated as the rules change.
